TiVo's first Product Design Engineer, instrumental in defining design, interaction, and mechanical aspects for entirely new Digital Video Recorder (DVR) category. (6 patents) 

Drove "TiVo" to become synonymous with ease-of-use and ease-of-manufacture, by managing all industrial design, mechanical engineering, hardware branding, mechanical sourcing, and tooling.

Designed and produced 10 generations of set-top receivers, remote controls, accessories, and packaging with minimal resources and breakneck schedules. 

Developed user-friendly, out-of-box customer experience and authored first branding guide. 

Managed designs for 12 third-party hardware manufacturers, including Sony, Pioneer, Toshiba, Thomson, and Philips. Assisted selection of manufacturing sites in the US, Mexico, Europe, and Asia. 

Led successive platform cost reductions of more than 40%.
